ENTER Art Fair is a new and ambitious international art fair in the Nordics. The fair takes place at the cultural progressive area The Refshaleoen in Copenhagen and as the first of its kind ENTER Art Fair and Artland combines the well-known art fair format with a digital art fair experience.
ENTER Art Fair is therefore the only fair that actually connects artists and galleries to collectors and other art lovers on a unlimited global scale all year round. The fair will take place for the first time August 29 – September 1, 2019. ENTER Art Fair and Artland recognizes the demand from the established International art community for an international high quality art fair in the Nordics. At the same time the mission is to create an innovative setting for younger art lovers and emerging collectors – a burgeoning force set to be the groundbreaking collectors of tomorrow. By combining the physical art experience and personal meeting with a direct reach into the virtual reality, Enter Art Fair and Artland bridges the two.
The Physical Fair
The fair will take place in a 3000 m2 tent at Refshaleoen during Copenhagen Art Fair week in the late summer. As the new and upcoming creative area in Copenhagen, Refshaleoen is the perfect spot for showcasing contemporary art. An old industrial island enclave that was once home to one of the world’s largest shipyards, the island is now home to ENTER Art Fair, Copenhagen Contemporary Art Center, cozy restaurants, fine dining such as Noma and the Alchemist, cool bars, great water views, activity centers, and delicious street food. Only about a 15-minutes bike ride or a 10-minutes sail in a solar driven Go Boat to the city center. ENTER Art Fair presents contemporary art from leading as well as emerging galleries from all over the world. The exhibiting galleries are selected by a committee in a mission to exhibit progressive and thought-provoking presentations.
The Virtual Fair
Through the fair’s curation of galleries the community can look forward to a new virtual exhibition every month and the opportunity to get familiar with the exhibiting galleries and their various programs. This is powered by Artland on a global scale with 3D films of current gallery exhibitions from the exhibitors at the physical fair. Much like the physical fair, the virtual edition consists of art exhibitions, a VIP section, a collector’s program and an artistic program. As well as during the physical fair the VIP section offers an innovative and exclusive VIP program that inspires Danish and International visitors and collectors, and connects the ENTER Art Fair partners with the wider community.
